The US-ASEAN Business Council has been requested to host a select roundtable discussion with Secretary Yellen in Hanoi. The Secretary would offer an update on the Treasury Department’s latest efforts to support U.S. trade policies towards the region. She would also like to discuss Vietnam’s role in ensuring supply chain security and resiliency for the United States, especially the opportunities and challenges that U.S. companies are facing as they relocate their operations to this market or expand capacity here.
